But with the business growing faster than predicted it says it is now reaching capacity status at its new home. The catering food and drink supplier has revealed it has now purchased a connecting site, securing the opportunity for future development.
The two-acre site currently houses an obsolete two-storey office and workshop complex, which will be demolished to make way for a warehouse expansion. In the short term, the surrounding land will help ease site congestion for visitor parking, along with the company’s expanding delivery fleet.
Company MD Justin Birchall said: “Having more than doubled our warehouse space by relocating to this site only 30 months ago, we hadn‘t predicted that our growth at this stage would be as big as it is. Obviously we’re really pleased but we needed to ensure we have plans in place to facilitate the next stage of our growth. “Therefore the adjacent site becoming available was extremely fortuitous and, despite the challenges of tackling a brownfield site, we are determined to develop this location into a productive facility benefitting the company, its employees and the community.”Enjoyed this?
