Birchall Foodservice appoints new director

Long-serving manager Andy Green has been appointed buying director of Burnley-based wholesaler Birchall Foodservice.

Andy, who has been with the founding Country Range member for over 20 years, has been promoted following his hard work and dedication to the business.

Andy started with Birchalls as a warehouse picker in 2001 and has progressed to leading the wholesaler’s buying operation.

Justin Birchall, managing director at Birchalls, said: “Andy has a wealth of trading experience, and his knowledge of foodservice is invaluable to us.

"I am confident that he will succeed in his new role. The experience he’s gained over the last 20 years gives him a great platform to help us drive the business forward.”

In his new role, Andy will continue to work alongside director, Keith Horner, and oversee the day-to-day running of Birchalls’ buying department.
