Bigtank Productions took part in the first annual Gin ‘N’ Trek in September to help raise funds for Rossendale Hospice.
The company’s ongoing relationship has spanned 10 years and included many videos to highlight the important work and cause in the valley, the pub walk was the latest collaboration between the two organisations.
Taking place on 11th Sept the event drew crowds of 700 plus walkers from the borough and beyond who all paid for entry and raised funds on top of this generating great totals for the day alone.
Beginning at The Boar’s Head in Bacup the trail wound through the towns and villages of Rossendale before culminating in a gin market in Rawtenstall town centre where owners and distillers of Lancashire based brands supplied gin to the thirsty walkers.
The video will be part of Rossendale Hospice’s marketing to raise awareness and support to make this an annual event in the valley’s summer calendar:
Clare Richards, fundraising manager for the hospice said: ‘The event was a huge success, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start, the value of having something like video content from Bigtank will mean we can show future sponsors and distillers the benefits of the event for us and them alike, helping to facilitate future treks. We’ve worked with Bigtank for a number of years and their support has been invaluable, they certainly earned a drink on the day!"
The video will be shared across social media channels, viewers are encouraged to share and spread the word and supporters can make donations to the hospice at: https://www.rossendalehospice.org/store/donate.html
