Rossendale-based video production company Bigtank has recently completed a contract to tell the stories of three companies for the Redefining Lancashire campaign, highlighting the opportunity and benefits available to Lancashire-based firms by exporting around the world.
As part of the campaign the Bigtank team visited three manufacturers and service providers to capture the success stories from the county, hearing from owners and staff on how exporting has helped them evolve and grow, while maintaining a strong presence within Lancashire. Plastic fabrication company What More, sportswear manufacturer Suzi Wong and fulfilment specialist Fulfilmentcrowd shared how, as Britain renegotiates it’s relationship with the EU, the power of networks has never been more important.
The video stories highlight how, with help from the Department for International Trade, each company has been able to tap into new markets and the videos produced will form part of the campaign to encourage Lancashire businesses to seize the opportunities in Europe and beyond.
Lynne Gillen, export manager for the DIT NW, said: "We are aiming to inspire companies to either export for the first time or increase their international presence. From the outset Bigtank understood the message we wanted to convey and captured the real essence of Lancashire’s exporting companies. I feel that there is a real relatability to the films, irrespective of your business size, sector or experience.”
The video stories will be hosted on the Redefining Lancashire website and will be used in various social media campaigns.
After the success of the first series, Bigtank have been commissioned to produce eight more videos covering the great export stories from around the region.
