My first thought was ‘oh no what has happened’ because nobody expected it, then I quickly moved on to ‘right what is going to happen now?’ There is a lot of nervousness with the state things are in at the moment in relation to all political parties being in chaos; who will handle the transition and do we have to wait for six months or longer? There is uncertainty in all markets and future investments will be put on hold, so my main worry is the delay that it will bring.
Even if you’re strong Remain campaigner like myself, you have to respect our democracy so it is just a case of making the most out of the situation which we will do. We may have to tighten things slightly, and plan accordingly for the current market, but it tightens your resolve as a business and strong business will turn out even stronger from it.
