Blackburn-based lead generation specialist Big Presence is supporting Lancashire Business View’s Sub 36 campaign - which is open for nominations until the end of Wednesday, 13 April.
Lancashire Business View is set to profile those aged under 36 who are already making their impact in the business world. A special showcase will be published in the May/June edition of the magazine.
And now Big Presence founder Jonathan Finch, himself only 32 and a winner and judge of previous Sub 36 awards and showcases, has stepped up to formalise his company’s support of the campaign.
Jonathan said: “I believe it is a combination of hard work and determination, as well as the amazing support and belief from people around me that have led me to where I am today. For the last few years I have been involved within Sub 36 and was a leader in a business that won the small business category, been a judge for Sub 36 awards, as well as being heavily involved in narrowing the search for the Ones to Watch – Under 36 last year.
“Lancashire is full of absolutely incredible young talent and a thriving spirit of entrepreneurship and the team at Big Presence and I are absolutely delighted to be able to offer support, guidance and hopefully inspiration to the young professionals within this county and are incredibly excited to be able to give something back.”
Jonathan is an inspiring under 36 story by himself. He formed Big Presence after spending over a decade leading, training and scaling numerous sales teams and businesses.
Working in sales since the age of 17, he became head of training and development at 25, sales director at one of the UK’s largest universities at just 27 and co-founder of one of Lancashire’s leading sales training businesses at 29.
He launched Big Presence into the Lancashire business scene earlier this year and already works with SMEs across the UK, creating campaigns, outreach strategies and inbound lead magnets to help businesses scale through new client acquisition.
Big Presence is also working with Lancashire Business View to compose a support package for all those nominated for and featured in the Sub 36 showcase. It will be designed to help them grow their presence, further their careers and thrive in Lancashire.
Stephen Bolton, commercial director of Lancashire Business View, said: “It’s great to have Jonathan and Big Presence on board as a supporter of Sub 36. Before he launched his current business, the first business he co-founded won a Sub 36 award. Then he became part of the judging team, and now he’s a sponsor.
“It’s been a fantastic journey so far and really underlines what we’re all about: working together and building long-lasting relationships that continue to deliver throughout the years.”
