The popular tourist destination attracts more than 1.2million visitors every year and, says its boss Boyd Hargreaves, the new signings prove his business’ ambitions.
Michael Hogg of Edinburgh Woollen Mill said: “Oswaldtwistle Mills provides us with an ideal location. There is a huge amount of passing trade which fits our customer profile perfectly.
“We will be providing the finest quality products, manufactured to the high standard which has helped us garner our reputation over the years. Judging by the figures from our opening month, we are excited about a long and fruitful relationship here.”
Mountain Warehouse property director Jim Pinder added: “Oswaldtwistle Mills has everything we were looking for when we decided we wanted a shop in East Lancashire. The regular coach visits provide a constant source of footfall, the size of our plot will allow us to open up the tents we have for sale, and we found the whole place to have a very pleasant environment overall.”
Boyd Hargreaves said: “We are pleased to have attracted two more popular names to our establishment.”
“There is definitely a growing demand for major brands requiring concession space which is perceived as more straightforward and lower risk than the high street.”
Oswaldtwistle Mills also features a business and conference centre which has office and conferencing facilities.
