Fleetwood-based commercial utility supplier BES Utilities has appointed a new managing director to its board, as part of a senior level restructure.
Nick will work alongside the chairman and existing board of directors, and his appointment follows a series of senior appointments over recent months as the business continues its focus on compliant growth.
During Nick’s involvement, the size of the business doubled, expanded operations in to Australia and Malta, and acquired and sold several subsidiaries. The company made it into the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work for on four occasions and doubled the benchmarked score for customer satisfaction and advocacy.
BES Utilities chairman, Andy Pilley, said: “Our focus for the coming years is to continue growing the company in a controlled and compliant way. Nick has been working with us since the start of this year and it is clear that he is absolutely the right person to help us oversee the next stage of BES’s journey. Nick Dilworth added: “BES has successfully developed a proposition within the change of tenancy market for small and medium-sized enterprises. Combining the current solid market position with the significant investment planned for the business, this will provide an exciting platform for BES to develop further as a challenger brand, which I very much look forward to being a part of. Our planned investment in the business will enable us to offer a wider choice of tariffs along with an enhanced customer experience.”
