House hunters have welcomed the news that leading housebuilder Bellway has reopened the sales offices at many of its desirable new build developments across Lancashire.
Following the Government’s green light to return to site, Bellway has re-opened the sales office and show homes at its Grey Gables Farm development in Bamber Bridge and will do the same at Lathom Pastures in Lathom early next week.
Visits to site are strictly by appointment only and a new set of policies and procedures are in place to protect potential purchasers, employees and tradesmen, including the installation of new screens, the wearing of gloves and the option of face masks, regular hand washing and the use of anti-bacterial hand gel on arrival and departure.
There will also be limits on the number of people allowed into the sales office and show homes. Only one set of visitors will be permitted at any one time with instructions in place to respect the sales advisor’s space and maintain a clear two metre social distance. Signage has been updated to clearly communicate the new policies and the sales teams have undertaken detailed training to ensure everything is understood and can be implemented at a local level.
Sales manager Lynne Duxbury commented: “We are delighted to be back on site at many of our developments and look forward to welcoming the many homebuyers who have been in touch with us over email and phone while we have been closed. At the moment, we are operating an appointment only system with only one client or family at a time. An incredible amount of preparation has gone into ensuring all developments meet Government guidelines for safe reopening and we are confident that this will soon become an easy new way of working.”
