A trio of cyclists from the Preston office of Begbies Traynor are gearing up to tackle a 45 mile bike ride in aid of a local charity on Sunday 12th September.
The Lancashire Women charity bike ride from Blackpool to Burnley is aimed at raising funds and awareness for the charity which provides services to women across Lancashire including mental health services and support with domestic violence issues. The charity’s five centres in Accrington, Blackburn, Blackpool Burnley and Preston provide valuable in-person support across the region.
Chris Lawton, insolvency director at Begbies Traynor in Preston, said: “We’re looking forward to the ride and we’re very proud to support this important local charity. All the funds raised on the day will enable Lancashire Women to continue its good work across the region.
“The effects of the pandemic have been profoundly felt by some of the most vulnerable people in our community and they need help now more than ever before. This bike ride draws attention to their plight and is also a visible demonstration of the support on offer in the heart of their local community.”
