Birchall Blackburn Law has received accreditation from the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS).
To achieve the accreditation, Birchall Blackburn Law went through a rigorous application and assessment process. The company said: "The Law Society runs many successful accreditation schemes that give people confidence that they are dealing with experts in that field. We know how important our existing accreditiations are to our clients so when the suggest of a Wills and inheritance quality scheme was announced we knew we wanted to be involved from the very start and gave our support to the proposed scheme during the early consultation stage.
"When the scheme was launched and the application pack landed, we did wonder what we had let ourselves in for! We very quickly realised that our existing working practices, team structure, training and focus on client care meant that we were already 90% there. "Our clients are at the heart of what we do, so not only did the scheme have to be worthwhile, but it also had to have relevance to our clients. In this area of the law we see people at very upsetting times; either dealing with grief or a difficult diagnosis or making difficult decisions about their future. So we want to make it as easy as possible for our clients to communicate with us and have confidence in the service we offer. Our WIQS accreditation is our chance to say to clients that we are professional and approachable; to confirm that they were right to choose us and to endorse the quality standards set by our professional body."Enjoyed this?
