Paul Plunkett, the deputy editor of BBC Newsround, will be talking to the businesses attending the Deaf Village North West Networking Event on Friday 1st September - the first day of Deaf Awareness Month.
Paul will explain how he brought in a daily BSL bulletin to Newsround so young deaf children had access to the news.
Paul was formely an assistant editor at BBC Sport and sports editor at the Lancashire Telegraph.
The Lord Leiutenant of Lancashire and Deputy Leiutenant, along with the Mayor and Mayoress of Blackburn with Darwen will also be attending to watch the students of The Deaf Village perform a song and short stage production.
There will also be information given to advise on how you can make your business inclusive for the deaf community
