Barnfield Construction, a Nelson-based contractor, developer and investor, proudly announces its commitment as a Gold Patron to Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone. This partnership reflects Barnfield Construction’s dedication to supporting local communities and fostering the growth and development of young individuals.
Barnfield Construction’s decision to become a Gold Patron demonstrates its commitment to giving back to the community in which it operates. This partnership comes as part of their ongoing efforts to contribute to the well-being and future prospects of young people in Blackburn and Darwen.
Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone is a vital cornerstone of the local community, providing a safe and inspiring environment for children and young adults to spend their leisure time. Open to individuals aged 5 to 19 (and up to 25 through the Youth Hub), the Youth Zone offers a range of activities and programs that align with its three key pillars: skills and aspirations, cohesion, and health and well-being.
With a Gold Patron status, Barnfield Construction joins a prestigious network of 64 businesses that help fund 50 per cent of the Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone’s operational costs. This philanthropic commitment contributes to sustaining and expanding the valuable services offered by the Youth Zone to the young people of Blackburn and Darwen.
Commenting on the partnership, Tim Webber, chairman and managing director of Barnfield Construction, stated: “We are delighted that Barnfield Construction will be able to contribute to the next generation of the Blackburn and Darwen community through the incredible work of the Youth Zone.
