Jeweller Banks Lyon hosted a festive Winter Ball to celebrate its 35th year in business.
Staged amongst a backdrop of twinkly lights and seasonal frosted decor, it was a stylish affair with gorgeous gowns, gems and party heels setting the scene.
Banks Lyon is based at Church Street, a Lancaster shoe shop dating back to 1885. But for descendant and native Lancastrian Rodney Banks Lyon, the shoe business held little appeal.
In his early twenties, Rodney was already shaping a vision to open a premier North West jewellery store. He set about gaining first-hand knowledge and management experience in the watch and jewellery industry. In 1985 he and wife Jasmin, realised their dream, opening Banks Lyon, Lancaster.
Treating customers to a boutique shopping experience in the historic City of Lancaster, Banks Lyon offers an extensive range of luxury watches, diamonds and jewellery. The company ethos to share expert knowledge combined with warm and friendly customer service has attracted a loyal and discerning clientele over the years.
In 2017, daughter Maxine and her husband Alexander opened a second retail outlet in Kendal. The couple draw on a wealth of marketing and retail expertise to bring the flagship store experience to the heart of the Lake District.
Rodney said of the anniversary event: "We wanted to mark this special anniversary, spending time with the many friends from our local business community who have kindly supported our journey over the years."
