BAKO appoints national account managers

Preston-based bakery products supplier BAKO Group has appointed David Jones and Kim Wright as national account managers.

David Jones brings over 18 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, and Kim Wright has over 13 years of business development experience in a variety of sectors. Both will be responsible for developing relationships with customers outside BAKO’s core markets of independent, medium and large bakeries.

The company, which operates a fleet of more than 70 vehicles, provides independent bakers and caterers with a wide range of ingredients and finished products from quality suppliers, as well as its own BAKO Select branded range.

Mike Tully, BAKO CEO, said: "BAKO is an established wholesaler to the bakery industry, but bakery ingredients are used in a huge variety of further sectors, from food manufacture to catering in leisure, public sector, health, education and more.
