Accountancy firm Baker Tilly has opened a new office in Preston and outlined plans for growth in the county.
Nine Partners and around 200 staff - brought together from Chorley and Bolton - will move in to the firm’s new 20,000 sq ft office premises at Bluebell House, close to junction 31a of the M6.Jill Jones, Baker Tilly’s North West regional managing partner said: "Strategically, Preston is a great location in the centre of Lancashire which will allow us to continue to provide excellent service to our existing clients.
"We see great potential for Lancashire and we plan to double the size of our current business in the region over the next three years. We expect to invest significantly in new talent from around the region so that we can further enhance our services to clients, helping them achieve their business goals as the UK economy picks up." Baker Tilly’s other offices in the North West include Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Warrington and Stoke.
