This week as we enter B Corp month, award winning B Corp business, The Wellbeing Farm announces it’s next B Corp Fest, taking shape for its third year - an event focused on the power of business as a force for good, on Wednesday 5th June 2024.
Taking place on the Farm in Lancashire, it’s set to step behind the scenes of what being a B Corp business is, whether the focus is on boosting team spirits; giving back to local heroes; or championing a greener planet and it’s being supported by industry leaders and household name brands, including the likes of Patagonia, Tony’s Chocolonely and Faith In Nature!
An opportunity for North West business leaders to find out more about the B Corp Certification, ‘B Corp Fest - Where Business Meets Fun and Purpose!’ is a unique festival-inspired business event specifically designed for those businesses who want to find out they can use their business as a force for good.
The event is specifically designed to operate like a festival, where following main speakers, leaders break out into different zones around the farm and attend a tailored-event suited to their business needs while experiencing a selfie with bowtie-wearing Llamas and attendees will enjoy a delicious Buddha bowl lunch and part of the ticket price will include a contribution to One Woman At A Time which seeks to empower women in Kenya and the UK.
The Wellbeing Farm, a leading innovator in sustainable weddings, and corporate events recently announced its double win at the prestigious Sustainable Wedding Awards, recognised as an outstanding business committed to reducing the environmental impact of weddings and promoting ethical practices within the industry, with founder Celia Gaze scooping Net Zero Leader and Sustainable Change Maker awards.
Driven by a personal transformation from leaving her high powered job in the NHS after suffering burnout, to finding her true purpose transforming her partner’s farm, Celia has dedicated the last decade to fostering well-being and sustainability with the venue. Achieving B Corp certification for The Wellbeing Farm sets a precedent for responsible business practices, inspiring others to join the movement towards a more sustainable and equitable future. Through her inspirational story, engaging talks, and impactful businesses, Celia's mission continues to ripple outwards, leaving a lasting legacy of well-being and positive change.
She said: “In Richard’s Branson’s words “The brands that will thrive in the coming years are the ones that have a purpose beyond profit”. Consumer spending models, marketing partners and economic data do strongly suggest that meaningful brands with purposeful products and services remain front of mind with consumers and customers alike so it’s good for business.”
