Kate Shawcross has joined Harrison Drury as an associate solicitor in its Lancaster office.
As part of the firm’s employment and regulatory team, Kate will work with clients on day-to-day employment and HR issues as well as TUPE and redundancy processes.
Kate qualified as a solicitor in 2010 while at JWK and joins after four years at Napthens solicitors.
She is a specialist in advising on employment aspects of business acquisitions and disposals as well as handling complex employment tribunal matters. Kate has also delivered seminars and training workshops on employment law and HR topics.
Roger Spence, head of employment and regulatory at Harrison Drury, said: “Kate has a wealth of knowledge from working closely with businesses to provide strategic guidance on all employment matters. Her experience in leisure and hospitality will also be a great asset to our team as this is a growth area for the firm.”
