Rebecca Dean has been appointed franchise recruitment manager at Darwen based property claims management specialist Aspray.
She will be tasked with helping to expand the company's network of franchise territory-owning loss assessors who project-manage property damage insurance claims.
Rebecca will draw on her experiences at Snap-on, the franchised tool business, and o2, where for 10 years she worked in roles encompassing both franchise support and channel management, with responsibility for 200 stores.
Her new role will include recruiting suitable franchisees who not only have an interest and background in property or project management, but also have the care and empathy to be able to step into distressing scenarios where home or commercial property owners have suffered a property impact of some kind, with levels of devastation varying from minor damage, to catastrophic loss.
Rebecca said: “There is so much potential for Aspray, given its existing strengths as a franchise network, its highly beneficial service and its solutions-driven, can-do approach.
“My aim will be to recruit the right franchisees for the role, whilst also helping to increase not just brand awareness for Aspray, but also general awareness of property claims management and the consumer’s right to appoint their own loss assessor, if they are a property insurance policyholder.”
