Our wide range of courses includes agriculture, animal studies, arboriculture, landscape, leadership and management, rail engineering and sportsturf.
Apprenticeships are delivered as work-based provision with training and assessment in the workplace using the latest blended learning techniques and use of an extensive virtual learning platform and online e-portfolio.
CAREERS NOT COURSES
When Luke Charnley began his greenkeeper apprenticeship at Shaw Hill Golf Club, he was new to the industry and had no experience.
A bright young man who never shies away from asking questions, he had a clear plan of where he wanted to get.
His knowledge and hard work earned him a role at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club, which is set to host the 2023 Open Championship, and he recently finished second in the Young Toro Greenkeeper of the Year Award.
Luke is now In the final stages of his end-point assessment, having gained a distinction, and will continue with Myerscough to complete his Level 3 Advanced Golf Greenkeeper standard.
