Anderton Gables expands into Yorkshire

Preston-based building consultancy Anderton Gables has opened its first office in Yorkshire as the firm  continues its northern expansion.

The firm of building surveyors, project managers and quantity surveyors recently celebrated its tenth anniversary. The new Sheffield office complements its existing Manchester and Preston offices.

The new office will be headed up by John MacMillan, senior associate who moves across from the firm's Manchester office having joined from RLB’S Sheffield office.

John will be supported by director Jonathan Shaw, who said: “Expanding into Yorkshire is part of our three-year plan and came along slightly early due to the level of demand and opportunities in the region.

"We are committed to providing enhanced geographic coverage and with clients such as Sheffield Insulation Group and Travis Perkins active within the region it was an easy decision." John MacMillan added: “There is a huge amount of investment in Sheffield around the student population and we have already been instructed to project manage a million-pound new-build accommodation block."
