We are delighted to announce that two of our financial advisers, Michael Hawthorne and James Curry, have both been awarded The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Diploma in Advanced Financial Planning.
This is a highly technical Level 7 qualification which Mike and James have been working on for some time and assesses an adviser’s ability to develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients' needs.
It also involves rigorous practical case studies, proving the ability to integrate financial planning strategies effectively.
This achievement allows both advisers to use the Certified Financial Planner (CFP™) designation, demonstrating expertise, professionalism, and ethical commitment.
The certification is recognised alongside the CII’s (Chartered Insurance Institute) Chartered Financial Planner status as a gold standard for financial planning professionals.
Both advisers now hold Chartered Financial Planner and Certified Financial Planner status alongside being Fellows of the CII which puts them in a small group of advisers UK wide with these three qualifications.
Achieving CFP status signifies not only technical competence but also adherence to a strict code of ethics and a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
It reassures our clients that both Mike and James have the highest level of knowledge and integrity in delivering financial advice.
Mike Hawthorne is based in Cheshire and has more than 20 years’ experience in advising clients all over the North West in a range of financial matters.
James Curry is based in Cumbria and is also an accredited adviser with the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) which means he specialises in helping people plan for their potential later life needs, with care planning and inheritance tax (IHT) planning.
If you would like to speak to either of these advisers about any aspect of financial planning please call the office on 01257 260011 or visit our website to make an appointment.
