Altius Group Limited, the UK’s leading boutique business brokerage, has enjoyed a strong start to the year, announcing twenty business sales in January.
Headquartered in Lancashire, Altius Group includes renowned brands Altius Corporate Finance, Redwoods Dowling Kerr, Kings Corporate, Kings Business and Bruce & Co. Together, they have experienced a high level of sales activity in January, notably throughout the healthcare, childcare and corporate markets.
The group’s specialist healthcare team enjoyed an outstanding month with ten transactions across care homes and home care markets.
Sales for the Redwoods Dowling Kerr healthcare team included the sale of Eltham House care home in the West Midlands to an existing operator, and the sale of Ava House in Cumbria to Flourishlife Care.
Also brokered by Redwoods Dowling Kerr were seven childcare business transactions including Nutfield Nursery in Redhill, to a boutique operator.
On the corporate front, January’s transactions included the sale of Midland Special Fasteners Ltd, a UK manufacturer and global exporter of fasteners and machine components based in the West Midlands. In a deal facilitated by Altius Corporate Finance, the business was purchased by Swedish industrial group, Teqnion AB.
