Preston-based project and building consultancy AG has promoted three of its employees to director level, following a number of strategic developments within the business.
John McMillan, who originally headed up the firm's Sheffield office, will work across the entire business as head of commercial building surveying.
Specialising in dilapidations and due diligence, John has spent the majority of his 12-year career in Gerald Eve's Manchester office before joining RLB in Sheffield. His clients include Sheffield Insulation Group and Travis Perkins.
Stuart Carter has been appointed director with overall responsibility for the residential development arm of the business.
Having previously worked in Manchester with Davis Langdon, WHR and Savills, Stuart specialises in new build housing development where previous work has included site appraisal, employer’s agent and joint venture services. Stuart is currently involved in more than 1,500 new build units across the north.
Tom Hargreaves has been promoted to director with overall responsibility for the Manchester office. Tom joined AG as a relatively newly qualified surveyor from Arcus Consulting. He specialises in project management and is currently overseeing refurbishments for Boohoo, Hansteen and Northern Trust.
Jonathan Shaw, AG managing director, said: "As our business continues to grow across the north of the UK, it’s essential that our clients are serviced from the most senior members of our organisation.
"John, Stuart and Tom are specialists in their field and the quality of service, which they provide our clients is second to none. Indeed, they are not just directors but ambassadors of Anderton Gables and I’m excited to be inviting them onto our board."
