Preston-based AG Built Environment Consultancy (AG) is to open a new office on St Paul's Square in Liverpool.
The firm operates nationally and has been developing its presence in Merseyside, working with clients such as JP Morgan, Castleforge, Torus, Langtree and Mileway, providing professional and project management services for client portfolios.
Gemma Parkinson, AG's associate director, will head up the Liverpool office and be responsible for its growth in the area focusing on the industrial, commercial, housing and healthcare sectors. The team will also include newly appointed associate directors Paul Magill and Emma Harwood and graduate appointment Danny Gresham.
Earlier this year, AG experienced significant growth in the financial year ending March 2022, seeing its turnover exceed £3 million and advising and managing over £100 million worth of construction projects.
Gemma said: "AG has been established for over 15 years and has developed a strong client base nationally and regionally. Over the past 12 months, our involvement within Merseyside and surrounding areas has grown exponentially, and we want to develop this further through our new Liverpool office. We have made senior appointments for the team and have no doubt that their local knowledge and expertise will provide our clients with an invaluable service.
"Demand for our services has increased, particularly our project management and sustainability offering. Landlords and occupiers want to enhance their assets to deliver a strong ESG proposition while increasing asset value. Our team is already working on various projects across the region, and the objective is to grow our team here in the coming months and years and provide a compelling offering to our commercial clients."
The firm also recently increased its Manchester presence by taking additional space at its Canada House office, boosting its headcount while winning places on the frameworks of Fusion 21 and the JV North, which total £680m.
It also recruited new teams to develop the firm's growing presence in the housing sector while also launching a new Sustainability and Energy Performance Advisory service.
