Swansway Motor Group recently welcomed two new aftersales managers to strengthen its Blackburn Audi and Crewe Volkswagen management teams.
Keith Warrilow joins to head up the Aftersales team at Blackburn Audi, after being hired for his dream role, whilst Stuart Sutherland joins the Crewe Volkswagen team after previous aftersales manager, James Keir was recently promoted to head of business at the retailer.
Keith Warrilow joins Blackburn Audi with 42 years of experience in the motor industry. Being a part of the team at Blackburn Audi is something of a personal goal for Keith, having enquired about roles before Swansway acquired the dealership in 2016. Having worked in a similar area of Blackburn previously, Keith described this role as feeling like he was returning home, whilst also ticking off that goal.
Starting his career as an apprentice, working in every aspect of aftersales before making his way up to the position of aftersales manager. During his career, Keith most notably worked as an aftersales manager at a small, family-owned business. Gaining experience in an environment like this taught Keith a great deal about what atmosphere he enjoys in his work life. Knowing that at a family-owned and run business like Swansway, Keith will work with the directors regularly is something that he’s looking forward to.
“I’ve just got the biggest smile on my face. Working at Blackburn Audi has been a personal goal for many years, and now I’ve arrived and am starting to settle in, I can see that the team are fantastic. It’s firing me up to see what we can achieve together.”
Much like Keith, the new appointment at Crewe Volkswagen Stuart Sutherland started his career as an apprentice technician and has worked through the ranks to diagnostic technician, mechanical technician and workshop manager.
Always looking for a way to develop his skills and learn something new, Stuart had heard some great things about Swansway Motor Group from old colleagues and friends. Combining this with his keen interest in German car brands, the role of aftersales manager at Crewe Volkswagen is an exciting step for Stuart.
“I’m settling in well, there’s a really good atmosphere and a great team. I can’t wait to get stuck in and continue the success of the business.
Swansway Motor Group aftersales director commented: “I’m overjoyed for Keith and Stuart to be joining the Swansway Family, they are a great addition to the team and help us to continue to strengthen our aftersales leadership.”
Swansway Motor Group would like to congratulate Keith and Stuart, wishing them all the best in their new position.
