Troubled Adlington-headquartered professional services provider Fairpoint has announced its intention to call in administrators within 10 days.
announced in Januarypredicted disappointing financial resultstemporarily suspended trading on AIMfunding boost in early JulyHowever, Fairpoint now says further trading outside of its Simpson Millar legal division is unsustainable and administrators will enter the company within ten days.
A statement read: "The board believe that [the funding] provided by Doorway will enable Simpson Millar and its subsidiaries to continue to trade as going concerns and take advantage of the growth opportunity presented by the size and highly fragmented nature of the consumer legal services market-place.
