Accrington and Rossendale College celebrated earlier in the year after receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating in a new Ofsted inspection. They’re keen to encourage even more learners to join them and receive their high quality teaching, and are hosting a series of open events.
The Open Events are a perfect opportunity to check out the first-class facilities and campus, and see what college life is all about. There will be plenty of fun activities to get involved in as well as free food and drink throughout the evening.
There will also be the opportunity to find out about the wide range of options available – from T Levels, Vocational programmes and Apprenticeships. You can take a tour of the fabulous, revamped campus, chat to expert tutors, and current students. There’s also the opportunity to try out the courses on offer, through fun classroom activities!
Accrington and Rossendale College centre principal Morag Davis said: “We’ve invested a lot in our Accrington campus, and it’s great to be able to welcome people in to see our outstanding facilities. I encourage everyone to come down and have a tour round!”
There are several dates available throughout the year and next. Each event runs from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Event dates include:
Wednesday 21st September, Tuesday 11th October, Wednesday 16th November, Monday 30th January, and Wednesday 19th April.
You can book yourself a place on the website www.accross.ac.uk
