The launch, which took place at the Stanley House Hotel in Mellor, called for entries to the awards which recognise the achievements of local accountants, advisors and businesses.
The six categories are: Accountancy Rising Star; Accountancy Rising Star (in practice); Accountancy Firm of the Year; Best Newcomer; Innovation Award and RBS Business of the Year.
The winners of the highly coveted awards will be announced at a special black-tie dinner held at Ribby Hall Village on Thursday 24th November 2011.
For details on how to enter the awards and to book your place at the 2011 NWSCA Accountancy and Business Awards Dinner please contact Clare Parisi on 01925 594 281 or [email protected].
These awards have been made possible thanks to generous sponsorship from Royal Bank of Scotland; AFR Consulting; Norwest Recruit; Napthens Solicitors; Taylor Patterson and UCLan. The event is also supported by Begbies Traynor and Lancashire Business View magazine.
Les Bury, President of the North West Society of Chartered Accountants, said: “In tougher economic conditions it’s even more important to get behind our local businesses and celebrate their success.
“There are a number of extremely talented individuals and successful companies across both Lancashire and Cumbria and these awards provide an ideal platform to showcase their achievements”.
