As proud members of the Blackburn Youth Zone Patrons Network, we’ve recently upped our efforts in support of the charity, incorporating into our fleet a new branded vehicle.
“We were exploring different ideas for ways in which we could offer our support to BYZ, and we were trying to think of something which would enable us to draw upon what we do in a way that would be beneficial to them,” says F&W Operations Planner, Olivia Fagan.
“We brainstormed alongside the BYZ team, and landed on the idea to incorporate a small truck into our fleet, branded with their design and logo. Used for local deliveries, the truck will be seen across their catchment area of Blackburn and Darwen, as well as around Burnley and the wider East Lancashire area. The hope is that it will help with spreading the word about the incredible work they do at BYZ, and with drumming up interest more generally in who they are as an organisation.
“We’re delighted to fly the BYZ flag, and we’re hoping that the truck may even get some of the young members truckspotting, as they’ll be encouraged to keep an eye out for it in their local area!”
“We are truly blown away by the kindness and generosity from our proud patron, Fagan & Whalley,” BYZ’s Interim CEO, Zaffer Khan, commented. “Their continuous support provides Blackburn Youth Zone with the opportunity to encourage our younger generation to thrive and flourish in their aspirations, and we’re really looking forward to seeing the BYZ brand travel across Lancashire!”
