Employees of Taylor Patterson have helped to raise £6017 for their nominated charity of 2013 The Space Centre, Preston.
Fund raising activities through the year ranged from cake bakes, 10k races, raffles, car boot sale, quiz night and the grueling 25 mile Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. The money raised will help towards the expansion of The Space Centre so they can continue to support young people and adults with physical and learning disabilities.
Louise Potter, director at Taylor Patterson, said, “It’s been wonderful to raise money for The Space Centre, and we are grateful to staff, clients and other professional contacts that have helped us achieve this.” Fund raising coordinator at The Space Centre, Hilary Holden commented “We are delighted with the generosity and hard work demonstrated by the Taylor Patterson team. The amount raised will enable us to purchase an AMX controller which is used to create specialist lighting and sound in our multi-sensory rooms. This helps to create a stimulating and relaxing environment for the young people and adults who use our centre."
