Preston-based web and social media specialist 3ManFactory will team up with the Red Rose Awards again in 2017 - and has hinted at new ways to broadcast the annual awards ceremony to an audience of millions.
The team will deploy its team of experts and their high-tech equipment to capture photos, videos and broadcast tweets and Facebook updates from Blackpool's Winter Gardens on March 9.Managing director Nathaniel Cassidy said: "This will be our third year being involved with Red Rose Awards, if you've been then you've most likely seen the 3ManFactory team darting around capturing photo and video on the night, live blogging the awards over social media, and managing the Twitter wall.
"We love working it. It's an event that we're firmly behind, it's a great night, it's a chance to celebrate some seriously successful Lancashire businesses, and we get to help take that message further. Last year's awards ended up having a reach, or rather being seen online, by more than 13m people!"Nathaniel added: "Everyone knows that publisher Richard Slater and the team work really hard to keep evolving and improving Red Rose Awards and we try and do the same with our involvement. For example this year, as well as interviews with winners and coverage of the ceremony, we're looking at using live video broadcasting, to push the reach even further, and additional cameras so that we really show off its scale.
"We're looking forward to capturing the night again in March, so put your glad-rags on, get ready to strike a pose, and keep a look out for our team - we're coming for you!"Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View and founder of the Red Rose Awards, said: "We're delighted to be working with 3ManFactory again. The whole ethos of the evening is to encourage people to buy from Lancashire suppliers, and to tell the world what great work we do here in the county. That makes 3ManFactory the perfect partner - a proud Preston business that will help us broadcast our message throughout the county and beyond.
"Social media is an important element of the awards, helping to spread the word about the businesses involved, it broadcasts the event for those that can't attend and it keeps a record of the night that people can share with their colleagues and friends. Each year, 3ManFactory has brought new ideas to the table and we're excited to see their latest innovations in action."Businesses across Lancashire are being called on to enter the national award-winning Red Rose Awards, which will crown the county’s best companies across 26 categories. The 2016 event attracted more than 1,100 of the county’s top business people for the prize-giving ceremony.
