Frazer Durris, managing director of Businesswise Solutions, Nelson, said: “The Government has a long-term commitment to delivering a low carbon future and has set a timeline of objectives to work towards.“Chamber Low Carbon has been launched to tackle these objectives; helping Lancashire businesses to identify and deliver small scale efficiency saving opportunities as well as advising on future proof solutions to meet the demands of a low carbon economy and increase renewable energy generation.
“With a wealth of successes in delivering energy improvement programmes to clients across multiple disciplines, we are very well placed to play a key role in the project and look forward to leading Lancashire to a better, low carbon future.”Every business which signs up to the project is entitled to support on environmental and energy saving projects, which will be delivered via a suite of masterclasses and 1-2-1 support, including on-site energy reviews.
