Garstang is set to get its first private health club complete with swimming pool, spa, Technogym, fitness studio and bistro.
Designed by Craven Design in Padiham, Thornton-based building firm Clement Dickens and Son has been appointed as main contractor. The project is scheduled for completion by next spring with membership available from the start of the year.
The state-of-the-art fitness centre will feature Technogym equipment, with integrated TV, internet and Skype, while dance and exercise classes, badminton and indoor bowls will be available in the multi-purpose hall. Three therapy rooms will be available for spa treatments and an onsite hairdresser, a bistro and meeting rooms will cater for a wide variety of visitors.
