Blackpool-based TankSafe has appointed Blackburn-based 21Digital to provide its online lead generation services.
TankSafe has developed products which prevent HGV fuel theft through siphoning. The company holds 45 patents covering 49 territories worldwide and has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise twice.
The range targets skimming, which accounts for 99 per cent of all fuel theft, and involves siphoning off fuel in amounts small enough to avoid detection, but regularly enough to mean UK hauliers lose an estimated average 25 litres of fuel per truck, per week.
TankSafe products also protect against overfilling spillages for increased road-user and site safety as well as improved carbon footprint for haulage companies.
Ryan Wholey, TankSafe CEO, said: "Over the last 20 years, 1.8million TankSafe devices have been supplied to fleets worldwide. But our products have never been more needed than right now.
“21Digital have been commissioned to help us ensure our key markets of distributors, OEMs, dealer and parts providers, and truck fleet managers can find our solutions online, wherever they are in the world.”
Sam Fletcher, 21Digital managing director, said: "TankSafe is a well-established company, but recent rises in fuel prices mean their products are more relevant than ever.
“We have been commissioned to improve the SEO (search engine optimisation) of their existing website so customers faced with fuel loss problems can more easily find the solution they need.”
