Home furnishings specialist Plumbs has enlisted 21Digital to create a new brand and build its new website.
Based in Preston, Plumbs has produced made-to-measure loose furniture covers, curtains and reupholstery products sold through a network of 120 consultants. The service includes a free-of-charge home visit to advise customers on the best choice of fabrics and colours to match their décor.
The new brand, for which Blackburn-based 21Digital has been commissioned to deliver the website, will operate entirely online without the need for home visits. A new visual identity will be created to attract a slightly younger demographic than Plumbs’ core customer base, while also opening up access to overseas markets.
Sam Fletcher, 21Digital managing director, said: “We are unbelievably excited to have won this commission to help promote a new brand and visual identity aimed at new markets for such a well-established and renowned business as Plumbs.
“The new brand and export website will aim to disrupt the industry with not just an innovative business model but a slick visual identity and content marketing strategy.”
Sarah Page, Plumbs managing director, said: “We are very pleased to appoint 21Digital to work with us on this project. As an award-winning company, we know they have a fantastic track record in delivering success for projects such as this, and we really bought into their no-nonsense, results-focused approach to the brief.”
