Recycling Lives Charity has a new distinct online presence thanks to a website delivered by Blackburn-based agency 21Digital.
Recycling Lives Charity shares its name with Recycling Lives Ltd, a separate, national recycling, compliance and waste management business.
However, it is its own charity and social enterprise which specialises in rehabilitation programmes designed to reduce homelessness and reoffending.
The programme provides residential accommodation for the homeless and is sustained financially by the social enterprise, delivering the other programmes. Its food programme is tackling food waste and food poverty by redistributing surplus goods to communities, in partnership with FareShare.
Sam Fletcher, 21Digital managing director, said: "Recycling Lives has built-up fantastic reputation for both business offerings and charity ventures, but felt that covering the two on just one website provided a confusing customer journey for the two different audiences.
"The new website we have delivered focuses purely on the charity. Although links remain between the two websites, dividing them into two simplifies direct routes of navigation to better satisfy the different audience requirements for each.
"It basically means customers who are interested in Recycling Lives Ltd’s waste management solutions – from scrap metal, scrap cars, general waste and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), to plastics, paper and cardboard – can get directly to what they need from the commercial site, while charity stakeholders can get the information they are most interested in from the one we have delivered."
