Kingswood Homes has broken ground on the newest phase of its award-winning Green Hills development in Blackburn — a significant milestone in its partnership with Together Housing.
This latest phase will deliver 149 high-quality homes, comprising a diverse mix of two, three, and four-bedroom properties.
In collaboration with Together Housing, 112 units will be dedicated to affordable housing options, with over half available for shared ownership and 53 homes for rent, while 37 properties will be offered for open market sale.
Paul Jones, managing director of Kingswood Homes, said: "Breaking ground on this phase of homes represents a crucial step forward in our vision to create an inclusive, thriving community at Green Hills. This development showcases our commitment to delivering high-quality homes while addressing the vital need for affordable housing in the area."
This phase of homes will feature Kingswood’s 5 star build quality, and energy saving features, alongside dedicated green spaces featuring a wildflower meadow and linear park. The project will also contribute to local infrastructure through Section 106 agreements, supporting education and community development.
Dai Howells, assistant director of development at Together Housing, added: "Our partnership with Kingswood Homes continues to strengthen as we break ground on this new phase. This development represents our shared commitment to providing high-quality, affordable homes in Blackburn, responding to the diverse housing needs of the local community."
