124 jobs axed at troubled caravan firm

Administrators called into a troubled Lostock Hall-based caravan manufacturer have announced 124 redundancies.

The search is still continuing to find a buyer for Lunar Caravans, which has half a century of manufacturing experience.

However, despite a “significant” amount of UK and international interest in Lunar, administrators say they have yet to receive an acceptable offer for the business as a going concern.
