Our March HR Exchange event in Lancashire focuses on the tricky topic of employee performance management and whether the appraisal process still has a valid part to play in today’s business world.
More and more organisations, large and small, are moving away from the ‘traditional’ performance appraisal, with ever-shortening business cycles, the feedback needs of the modern workforce and the need to drive quality conversations being cited as the reasons for this.
Neal’s engaging and lively session will review current and emerging practices in the management of employee performance, looking at the merits of different approaches and available research on topics such as the impact of performance ratings on collaborative and competitive behaviour.
