We are hosting another of our popular networking events for Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde companies. The purpose is to provide a platform for local businesses to come together and support each other and the local community.

This one will be a little bit different, we aren't planning on any speakers this time and instead we will be having 2 hours of networking with a few little festive surprises! as well as the return of our Best Dressed competition to win a luxery hamper! 

This is a FREE event. However, as we are sponsers of this years Be Inspired Magazines 'Christmas Toy Appeal' we will be requesting final donations for families and children in need this Christmas. 

Why run a Toy appeal? 
559 children in our community are placed in care under Blackpool Council (this is Blackpool alone and does not include Wyre and Fylde!)

362 of these children are placed with foster carers, 20 are adopted and the remaining are placed in secure units, children's homes or residential units.

9 of the 21 wards in Blackpool fall into the most deprived in the country

16.3% of children are living in child poverty
30.9% of children are living in low-income families
 
What happened in the 2023 To Appeal?
2884 toys collected, average value of £7 = £20.2k

Every agency/charity that contacted the Be Inspired team received a minimum of 10 sacks of toys 

Families who went through personal trauma i.e. house fires etc received presents
