We want to help break the silence and shine a light through menopause awareness and its impact in the workplace and beyond.

To encourage awareness and debate in menopause in the taxation and accountancy profession, we are hosting 5 webinars across week:

MONDAY 17 OCTOBER - Menopause starter pack of facts - let's begin here

Effects of the menopause can impact everyone - whether you’re affected yourself or want to support a colleague, friend or family member.  We kick start this Menopause week of webinars with expert Emma Guy (AKA the Menopausal Godmother) who will cover a “starter-pack” of facts to help understand what to expect with the menopause.

TUESDAY 18 OCTOBER - Menopause - In conversation with a Doctor

Dr Verity Biggs, NHS GP, with specialist interest in Women’s Health and Menopause working in Coventry and Warwickshire is passionate about women receiving the right advice and treatment at the right time for them. Hear from her insights, expert knowledge to better understand the science behind the menopause.

WEDNESDAY 19 OCTOBER - Hormones, brain fog and wellbeing

An informative, interactive workshop highlighting how you can positively influence your mental and physical wellbeing at any stage of the menopause. Presented by Biochemist and Sports Nutritionist Jeannette Jackson, this session will be full of advice on how improve memory (combat the dreaded menopause brain fog!), improve focus, concentration, sleep, mood and what to eat to boost your physical energy and mental acuity.

THURSDAY 20 OCTOBER - Revolutionising the menopause - our collective responsibility

Women in Tax are excited to invite Heather Jackson to discuss her work with GenM and will explore the statistics on the menopause and perimenopause from GenM’s research that underpin their mission. Heather will also explain why the menopause is more than a medical issue, a workplace issue, or a gender issue, but one that affects everybody in society.

FRIDAY 21 OCTOBER  - Menopause in the workplace

Hear from award winning organisations and speakers who specialise in menopause who are making it part of the workplace agenda. This webinar will share good practice, knowledge and raise awareness of company policy and behaviours, and will focus on managing mental health of colleagues impacted by the menopause in the workplace.
