In this session we’ll look at how to get your digital strategy right back on track and maximise under-used technologies to benefit your people, processes and performance. Many of the technologies may already exist within your organisation, and with just a little TLC could transform your operation.
The Digital Clinic is a short interactive session to learn, share, and stimulate discussion on key business issues which will affect the profitability and performance of manufacturing SMEs.
Led by Edge Hill University and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), the Clinic brings together SMEs and technology adoption experts to share detailed, authentic, local examples of technology challenges and successes in SMEs.
Generating, sustaining and monitoring sales pipeline, production schedules, resources, and profitability are issues that affect every small and medium sized manufacturing business.
The Clinic session will include:
- technology adoption expert speakers, including SMEs who have been through the pains of adoption but are now realising the performance benefits;
- breakout room discussions;
- live Q&A;
- a guided performance benchmarking assessment.
Beyond this Clinic, SME participants may wish to progress to participate in the available Manufacturing Connect programme, which supports SMEs in more depth to quickly build confidence, a clear business case, and an action plan for adopting new digital technologies.
