Join us for an informative session with guest speaker Georgina Sommerville to hear about current issues affecting women in business and share best practice on how to get move your business forward. We will also have opportunities to network within the event.
About Georgina Sommerville
Georgina Sommerville is Director and co-founder of Green Rose Community Interest Company. They are a social enterprise based in North Lancashire, supporting local households to stay warm and well, manage their energy use and make their homes more sustainable, through a mix of advice, information and education.
In the session Georgina will talk about starting, running and growing her own small business. She will also share some helpful tips for understanding and bringing down those spiralling energy bills (including busting some common myths), discuss which small and large measures can help make your home more energy efficient and share where to go for grant funding, support and advice.
- Parking and transport links: City Centre paid car parking is available nearby. The venue is 200 metres from Lancaster Train station.
- Tea and coffee will be provided. Additional refreshments can be purchased at your own cost.
This is a free event, but booking is essential as numbers are limited. Only one ticket per email address can be purchased for our events. For additional tickets, each guest is required to use thier own email address.
