Kingsley Asset Finance have made Lancashire Mind their chosen charity to support. We recently implemented a Mental Health at Work guide for all of our employees; detailing what support we will offer everybody, sickness procedures and advice available.
We believe it to be vital to keep talking about mental health in the workplace in order to break down the stigma still attached.
1 in 4 of us will experience ill mental health every year, and we cannot ignore this.
To do some fundraising for Lancashire Mind we have decided to put on a networking event for local customers and businesses to attend. The event will take place at The Halfway House (which has recently be refurbished). There will be food, great raffle prizes and a representative from Lancashire Mind to give a small talk on mental health awareness in the workplace.
There will also be a member of Lancashire Mind at the event to talk to about any workplace training you may be interested in for your business. Mental Health is the top of the agenda at the moment and it's imperative that we do all we can to create the best workspace for our employees and their well-being.
We want to encourage as many people as possible to attend in order to network with the local community as well learning more and raising some money and awareness for an amazing charity.
