Come and join us for our CPD-acredited Fertility & IVF Support in the Workplace lunch and learn sesion.
From experience, we recognise that staff members can be reluctant to identify themselves as someone looking to get pregnant: for women, there is a lot of fear that having a baby will impact negatively on career progression, as well as wanting to avoid the added presssure that “everyone knowing” brings with it. For men, there can be overwhelming fear of 'failure', seperation or even about what their future holds.
Everyone's pregnancy journey is an incredibly personal topic that can trigger a lot of emotions. So our sessions are designed to respect all of this.
Outcomes for this session
- To raise awareness of the fertility and pre-pregnancy journey amongst staff and managers
- To give staff who are on that journey, or who are thinking about it, some practical tips on how to maximise their chances of a successful outcome
- To give managers tips on how best to support someone who they know (or suspect) is on this journey
- To raise awareness amongst staff and managers of the policies, procedures and support available to them
