Health sector businesses are invited to discover the latest research from Lancaster University academics at a free event this month.
The Faculty of Health and Medicine Postgraduate Research Symposium will feature a day of presentations exploring recent insights and innovations from the university.
Attendees will get the chance to view summaries of recent research findings from the divisions of Biomedical & Life Sciences, Health Research, and Lancaster Medical School on a wide range of topics.
The team from North West Cancer Research will award prizes for the best presentations.
The university welcomes members of the region’s health business community to attend.
In the fast-moving world of health, staying up to date with the latest thinking and innovation is a way businesses can remain competitive.
The university’s postgraduate students have produced an impressive body of work that the university hopes will help to stimulate new ideas and opportunities for the health sector.
As well as learning about recent health innovations and discoveries, guests will have the chance to meet the next generation of graduates looking to bring their skills and knowledge to the jobs market.
Leading academics from the faculty will also be available all day to answer any questions about research and opportunities for partnerships with companies working in health.
The event is open at Lancaster University Management School from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Wednesday March 29.
Guests are welcome to attend for the whole day, or drop in at any time. Refreshments will be served throughout the day.
