Welcome to Lancashire Leader Walks, a collaboration between Freshwalks and Lancashire Business View to bring premium netwalking experiences to the county.
Our Autumn walk will take place in Pleasington, near Blackburn. Our proposed route involves a three hour morning ramble in glorious Lancashire countryside followed by lunch at the Clog & Billycock. It's an opportunity to connect with like-minded businesses, gain some valuable headspace and enjoy some good food together.
A stunning rural ramble exploring the suburban fringes of Blackburn and paying homage to the greatest fellwalker of all: Alfred Wainwright.
From the Clog and Billycock we climb to the summit of Billinge Hill before descending through the woods into Witton Country Park and joining the Witton Weaver’s Way along the River Darwen through Pleasington and Hoghton Bottoms.
We then climb steadily up into the Yellow Hills, pausing at the memorial to Alfred Wainwright and admiring the stunning views up to the Lake District Fells before returning to the Clog and Billycock for refreshments.
This event is strictly for business leaders and senior executives by private invitation only. Please get in touch if you would like to join us.
