AMRC North West is a gateway development on the Samlesbury Aerospace Enterprise Zone, which is part of the wider Lancashire Advanced Manufacturing and Energy Cluster.
The AMRC specialises in technologies incorporating Industry 4.0 including Robotics, additive manufacture, artificial intelligence and Internet of things and they also carry out world-leading research into advanced machining, manufacturing and materials, which is of practical use to industry.
Collaborations with 125-plus industrial partners range from global giants like Boeing, Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems and Airbus to small companies. Businesses can work with a on a one-off project, or join as a member for long-term collaboration.
