Bleep UK, the Leyland-based designer, manufacturer and supplier of touch screen EPOS systems, has announced that it has secured the contract for the EPOS systems at the in-venue retail stores for the Rio 2016 Olympics.
The stores will be selling a range of products and merchandise to visitors from across the globe, such as cuddly versions of the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralymipic mascots Vinicius and Tom, pin badges, mugs, magnets, towels, shirts, caps and more.
John Wellman, chairman of Bleep UK, said: “Supplying our second consecutive Olympic Games is a dream come true for Bleep UK. It is a great honour to supply this global event on the back of our success in London four years ago. "The fact that we have been asked to supply an event of this magnitude over 5,000 miles away speaks volumes about what we have achieved in the events and stadia industries in recent years. We pride ourselves on supplying the gold standard of EPOS systems and look forward to contributing to the success of another Olympic Games.”
